Christmas Workshops

The workshop begins with a story about Aliens and how they "help" Panta Claus at Christmas. This story provides inspiration for pupils, working in teams of 3, to design and build a Kid K'NEX Alien. Then individually, they will design and colour a pair of christmas-themed underpants for their alien. Pupils will help turn these underpants into a unique and original Christmas decoration for your class.

Working to the scenario that Christmas is coming and we need  to find an enterprising way to raise money, pupils will be challenged to work in small teams to design and cost a K'NEX Christmas decoration. Pupils will have to work within a budget, which will test their maths skills and they will have to work to a deadline, which will test their time management skills.

Pupils will vote for their favourite ChristMaths decoration and the winning team will be presented with a certificate.
