K'NEX Commonwealth Challenge

K’NEXT Generation is launching a new K'NEX workshop to celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Scotland this summer.

The “K’NEX Commonwealth Challenge” will highlight the inclusive nature of the Commonwealth Games and will challenge pupils to build, test, assess and improve a Commonwealth-themed K’NEX model.

Medals will be awarded to the winning team in each workshop and all schools taking part will be entered into a prize draw to win a selection of science books for the school library.

Age: P4-7 ( the workshop can be adapted for P1-7 composite classes)
Maximum number pupils per workshop: 33
Duration: 75 minutes (up to 3 workshops per day)
Space required: Hall or Gym
Cost: £90 per workshop plus travel
Availability: June and July 2014
